Dr. Cybil Nicole Cavalieri “Nikki”, is a Wildlife and Ecosystem Vulnerability Analyst for the U.S. Geological Survey Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center and an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education Fellow (ORISE) Research Fellow. She specializes in co-producing climate change refugia maps for conservation and facilitating dialogue between different knowledge systems. She is the MITx-Learning Bundles lead for the NSF Center for Braiding Indigenous Knowledges and Science (CBIKS).
Research interest: Climate adaptation, Conservation, Species Distribution Modeling, Ecological Modeling, Behavioral Ecology, Evolutionary Ecology, Functional Morphology, Biogeography, Life History Evolution and Natural History.
